Laboratory glass reactor for chemical synthesis and reactions.
The Lab Glass Reactor is a compact borosilicate glass reaction vessel designed for R&D, bench, and pilot lab applications. Available in single-, double-, or triple-wall configurations, it supports temperature control (jacketed or direct heating) and can operate under full vacuum. Construction uses Schott Duran tubing / glass, with tool-free clamp systems, self-aligning stirrer couplings, and quick release assemblies to facilitate ease of use. It is built for chemical resistance, thermal stability, and flexibility in coupling with condensers, feed lines, and instrumentation.
• Operating temperature: –50 °C to +180 °C
• Pressure: full vacuum to 0.5 bar (positive)
• Capacities: 100 mL up to ~10 L
• Reactor styles: single wall, double wall, triple wall (for jacket insulation)
• Stirring: overhead stirrer with gear motor, speed range ~40 to 400 rpm
• Materials: Schott Duran glass, PTFE / Viton / FFKM seals, SS304 supports
• Accessories: flush bottom valve, minimal dead volume design, interchangeable impellers (propeller, turbine, anchor)
• Utility options: hot water/oil circulators, chillers, vacuum pump interface, pH/pressure sensors
• Small-scale chemical synthesis under controlled stirring and temperature
• Reaction development, screening, and scale-down studies
• Teaching labs and demonstration of reaction protocols
• Vacuum or reflux reactions for organic, inorganic, or specialty chemistries
• Integration with downstream separation or condensation modules Its design balances usability, chemical compatibility, and adaptability for varied lab workflows.
