- Stirring and mixing options
Complete reaction unit for chemical synthesis and process development.
The Reaction Unit is a dedicated stirred reactor system designed for performing chemical reactions under controlled conditions with optional reflux capability. It is a core element in Goel’s standard units, supporting atmospheric or vacuum operation and modular integration with downstream separation equipment.
• Routine chemical synthesis and experimentation
• Reflux-assisted reaction sequences
• Pilot‐scale kinetic or mechanistic investigations
• Integration with distillation or downstream purification
• Multi-step reactions requiring controlled addition or withdrawal of reagents The Reaction Unit provides flexibility, transparency, and modular connectivity in process development environments.
• Material: borosilicate glass, PTFE seals, stainless supports
• Capacity: typical catalog sizes in tens to hundreds of liters
• Operating envelope: ambient to moderate vacuum or slight positive pressure
• Stirring: variable speed mechanical drive with magnetic or mechanical coupling
• Temperature: –50 °C to +200 °C (depending on heating method)
• Configuration: reaction flask with reflux condenser, ports for feed/withdrawal, sample lines
• Interfaces: standard flanges, glass joints, and accessory ports
• Utility compatibility: heating / cooling media lines, vacuum or inert gas purging
